Race 1 (1,000m)
(2) CLICKBAIT has shown potential in work. Worth a shot.
(6) LUCIENNE has shown up well in both starts, although over a furlong further. However, she should feature prominently.
(8) RUBY RISING has useful form over the trip. Keep in mind.
(4) BELL OF ANGELUS shows plenty of pace but tends to lack extra when it counts.
Race 2 (1,400m)
(9) GRAN CANARIA comes with smart Cape form. Looks the part.

Race 3 (1,400m)
(7) GREENLIGHT QUEEN has made steady improvement leading up to her recent maiden win.
(2) PRINCESS GOLDIE was a recent maiden winner and comes from an in-form stable. Step-up in trip from a good draw helps.
(15) BUTTERCUP BABY has a tricky draw to negotiate but was doing her best work late last run.
(4) EMERALD GREEN was drawn wide last start, so ignore the run. She is smart on her day.
Race 4 (2,400m)
(3) SHOOT THE RAPIDS ran well first-up after a lengthy break. Stays well and can go close again.
(1) MASTER OF PARIS has useful Cape form over shorter. He gets 9kg from Shoot The Rapids.
(2) CAPE EAGLE is never far off them and stays the trip. He will be a big runner.
(5) RAISEAHALLELUJAH ran well below form last time. Ignore that run. He can bounce back.
Race 5 (1,750m)
(2) SPIRIT OF LEVANA can make amends as a beaten favourite last run. Blinkers make way for cheekpieces.
(4) MISS PLATINA faced a tough ask in the King's Cup last run. Do not write her off.
(8) CELTIC BEAUTY set the pace in a sprint last run. She will much prefer this trip.
(6) MASCHERINA is seldom far back. Strong money chance.
Race 6 (1,750m)
(6) SELUKWE won a minor feature well last time and that form has been franked. A repeat will see him go close.
(8) LEGAL COUNSEL won his last two in the Cape. With a light weight, he will be a big contender.
(4) RAPIDASH was a distanced second last run, but The Real Prince is not in this line-up.
(7) COMMAND PILOT may just have needed his last run and has a money chance.
Race 7 (1,000m)

(8) NORTHERN WARRIOR has shown some of his best form over course and distance.
(10) PHILISPIEL is over his best course and distance with a 4kg claimer up. Ignore his last run.
Race 8 (1,200m)
(10) ON BOARD made a winning local debut coming off modest Cape form. Follow him.
(4) DAWN SURPRISE was a beaten favourite last run after a smart previous effort.
She is 1kg worse off with (11) PRIZED PLATINUM on their last meeting, given the apprentice claim.
(1) SI VELOCE improved last run and could be the pick.
Race 9 (1,400m)
(7) PALERMO took on a bit stronger last run and showed up well at his two previous starts over the trip.
(8) RICCARDO is consistent and down in trip but is always dangerous.
There should not be much between (5) MISTER NIBBLES and (15) ROOSTER BRADSHAW, a head separating last time, but the latter has a tricky draw to contend with.
